What are the benefits of HIFU Facelift at Nova?
NovaLift is a single treatment targeted at stimulating natural collagen production and tightening muscle layers. The technology is unique in its ability to penetrate the dermis and the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) layer, which is deeper than other non-invasive facial treatments. SMAS is the same layer which is tightened during conventional facelift surgery. The key benefit is that the results are achieved without invasive surgery, cuts to the skin or recovery time.
What happens during the treatment?
The treatment is performed by a specialist Aesthetician who will administer pulses of HIFU through a hand piece applied to the skin. The shots of ultrasound feel hot and tingly but not painful. The treatment is performed at three different depths in order to target all layers responsible for rejuvenation and lifting.
When will results be seen?
Results can be seen soon after treatment, skin appears a little flushed at first but within hours will look plumped and smoother. The process of collagen building and muscle firming takes place over the months ensuing treatment with HIFU, with lifting and firming increasing 3-4 months following.
