Before treatment skin is thoroughly cleansed and a numbing cream is applied. The treatment involves the application of tiny needles which create micro damage to stimulate repair. This will feel warm and sensitive however discomfort is rare due to the numbing cream. Following treatment a hydrating serum and high factor SPF will be applied to sooth and protect skin.

Immediately after treatment skin appears red and may feel sensitive and hot, similar to sunburn. This usually subsides over the next few hours however some mild swelling can occur and remain for 24 hours following treatment. Results can start to be seen within a week of treatment, with skin feeling plumper and pores minimised. Multiple sessions would be required to reduce the appearance of lines, acne scars or stretch marks.
